Default Crossmember?

I have a 91 Cherokee and I've mobbed it to hard in the Dersert to many times and cracked the cross member (and possibly broke the transmission mounts) I'm looking to get a new crossmember and was wondering is there a difference between the manual trans and auto trans when it comes to the crossmember? Or is it kinda universal? And does it matter if its 4 wheel drive or 2? I'm kinda short on cash and want to go to a pic a part to get one. Just want to get one that will work. Thanks.

The manual crossmember nets a 1" drop for the Tcase for an XJ with an auto trans. Other than that I think there is no difference between 4wd and 2wd. Not entirely sure though.

So as long as I find one for a manual trans it should fit? (My xj is manual)

Check part numbers online, like Rockauto, and the big four stores.
