Crazy vibration!!!
Ive had this vibration for about 2 months now... I can not figure out for the life of me what is causing it!
It sounds like its coming from under my feet, but honestly that could be anywhere or anything attached to the unibody. At first i thought it was a binding, but i changed both my front axle-joints and wheel bearings. So ive ruled out the front. Ive shaken the **** out of all the links in the front including steering...nothin.
I know your thinking it... axle wrap!!! Well see thats what i thought too. Until i noticed that even when im not moving, and maybe trying to crawl over a rock. It still makes the nasty vibration noise. So thats why I dont think its a rotating vibration anymore.
It sounds exaxctly like an AIR HAMMER on my frame rail... And it happens whenever throttle is applied, moving or not.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

motor or trans mount would be my guess. to test the motor mount. Open the hood and look at your motor when you put in gear give it a little gas with your foot on the brake and see if the motor moves significantly...trans mount you need to crawl under the rig and push up on the tail shaft and see if it moves alot.

Motor mount should be more of a "clunk" when accelerating. Do your adjustable CAs have jam nuts on them? Mine are supposed to but did not come with any so I get that exact same vibe under my feet from the time the wheels start rolling until they start. It is my upper CAs vibrating because of the lack of the jam nut. Everything is tight a torqued to specs. Crawl under it and shake the upper where the end screws into the arm.

My vote is on exhaust is hitting somewhere. I'm with Winston, a bad motor or tranny mount would make a loud clunk when shifting to D or R.
