I fixed the same problems you guys had last winter try switching the brand thermostat your using i went from a stant to a duralast and it warmed up normal

Its definately a t stat probelm just get the factory one

The actual manufacturing/making of many (not all) small automotive components is outsourced by automobile manufacturers to other companies, thus the term original equipment manufacturer or OEM. These parts are made by different companies (to the specific auto mfgs specs) and branded/sold under the automobile manufacturers name thru their dealerships parts dept. Not saying that Chrysler/Jeep does that but, Stant is a OEM supplier of t-stats.

Ya I've been running the cleaner since Thursday and I've seen no change in the temp going up tomorrow going to get a new t stat and try it

Well it was an open t stat do not by the stupid fail safe t states this is the 4th one if gone through

The 4th t-stat or the 4th "fail safe" t-stat? Keep a close eye on things....an overheat, or close to it, caused the fail safe to fail....may want to invest in a infrared temp gun.

I got a 195 and its flexes between190 and 210 and it works great my heats back so I'm happy with it and yes I went through4 fail safe t stats but a good cleaning of the cooling system is a plus
