Default Throttle body spacers and bored TB?

Will my throttle body spacer still work/fit with a bored throttle body?

Just ditch the spacer. It would still work but it really doesn't do much except make the engine bay look pretty. People claim they see more power or MPGs but it really doesn't do anything

Yep. Ditch the tB spacer and get a bored TB from www.strokedjeep.com. Smile as you drive.

If the opening on the spacer is smaller than the one on the TB than no it will not work, they really don't do anything on a MPI motor they work for standerd fuel injected TB.

Actually it's Bernoulli's law. Increase of a cavity's volume will result increased pressure. It's the same for jet mechanics. The increase of pressure should technically atomize the fuel more efficiently as the pressure is released into the combustion chamber.

The threaded side walls of the throttle body spacer really don't do anything but make noise. Have a machine shop bore it to match. This also will increase the volume of the spacer as well. In saying this it's not a good idea to go all out an increase the volume as much as possible. But in this instance, this little amount shouldn't hurt anything, but help your throttle response a little. That's all the spacer does to begin with. It's not for mpg or horses, just seat if pants.

That would be a valid assumption IF the fuel was introduced in the spacer, but it's not.

The spacer does nothing.

Ah but the fuel is introduced at the intake leading into the head. At that point the pressure volume of the intake is accelerated through convergent passages. And since the intake manifold is the cavity between the throttle body and the head, that includes the small increase due to a spacer.

Again it is a small amount of extra volume,
But it shouldn't be ignored. I have driven with out it, but put it back on cause I do feel more throttle response with it on. Enough to miss if removed.

A jet engine is similar, pressure is speed up and fuel is introduced just before the combustion chamber. Internal combustion just use less air volume than jets, but concept is the same, better ATOMIZATION.

Bored TB - some effect at high end.

Spacers - placebo effect.

Just 1 STP STICKER - much more effective than 100 spacers.

Jeep logo on your jacket - leap buildings at a single bound!
