Default coolant flush

i was wondering if anyone has or can give me a write up on how to flush my radiator on my 96. my radiator fluid is really dirty and need to give her something better to drink.

If cooling system is dirty, u need to flush more than just the rad. Try the "search" function.

Get a prestone flush kit.. the instructions come with the kit.
Once you've flushed as instructed, turn off the engine and drain as much of the tap water as you can, and once it's all sealed up, refill with distilled water and antifreeze. I'd suggest you over do the antifreeze.. instead of 50/50 mix, add one gallon straight antifreeze first, then if more is needed, use 50/50 distilled water and antifreeze. Why? Cause you didn't get all the water out when you drained it.. there's still plenty in the block and heater core. Have fun!
