Default Converting 2x4 to 4x4?

Hey i bought this jeep and its my first lifted anything. How can i get this to a 4x4? Im pretty tired getting stuck and looking stupid. Anything will help. Thanks

GL with this if your going to go through with it. However in similiar threads people stated the fact that buyin a 4x4 will cost about as much as conversion. Just giveing you some more info, not ment to be a PIA. Some people have that connection with their jeep where the blood, sweat, and money is worth it.

I agree with Mike.
Altho, a decent locker and winch will run as much as an ok used XJ.

this is a basic list of what you need

different tranny (one made for 4x4)
transfer case
different rear driveshaft
front driveshaft
front axle
4x4 shift linkage
cross member

that is just a short list of the essentials. i have done it and it is not that bad, just like installing a lift and a clutch. not hard at all.

cross member is the same, for a 94 anyway.
