The little button on the end of my ebrake handle is missing... I bought an entire ebrake handle and bracket from JY... is there anyway to just replace the little button on the end without tearing out the console to change out the entire thing?? I am just wondering how to get the button out of the donor...

my buddy did this. his button cracked and fell off in two pieces. he couldn't figure out how to pry it out. it might be best to release the cable and replace the whole thing. because if im correct or will be contradicted. pushing in the button pushing up on the metal bar which allows it to release tension in the cable to push the assembly back down. but honestly. i dont think its repairable. and since you already have the whole thing. why not. =)
