I bought the AFE kit from a company off EBAY called GREY HOUND PERFORMANE a couple months back. They were the cheapest ones around and I also had a discount code for 10% off. I am happy with the intake. I installed it at the same time as a 63mm throttle body so I can't say what it did on its own but the combination worked great and I got both for the price of a KN intake kit. When looking around AFE sells two kits, they are exactly the same except for the filter, one has to be oiled and one doesn't. By the way, the code was 10PERCENT, I don't know if it is still active but it is worth a try. They were a decent company to deal with also. Good Luck.

Or put it in the cowl, but an open intake is cool if you never see any water. You just never know when something like this will happen.

I don't think a snorkel is much more than a good cold air intake anyway.
