About every 3 months I develop "The Clunk" sometimes referred to as the "bowling ball clunk". I have to pull the rear driveshaft and grease it. I don't know why, but it sticks. It's an easy fix though.

I don't think mine has a zerk fitting on the rear, but the rear uni-joints are greaseable.

See how much room you have under your exhaust pipe where it goes above the trans/t-case crossmember. There's a mount on the crossmember, too.....

You might be onto something. My engine mounts seem fine from what I can tell but there's not much room between the exhaust pipe and the crossmember. They're not quite touching but I can't even fit a finger between them (I previously had spacers to drop the transmission but I recently removed them). I can't really see any way of raising the exhaust up out of the way.

Should be able to get 2 fingers in there. If it were me, I would replace all 3 mounts and be done with it.

Who did you all go through for new motor mounts? It seems like there is a lot of options out there, so just looking for some opinions.

What kind of driving/off-roading do you do?

i have an 01 xj sport....Ive been having driveline noise under initial load....I can take off lightly with low throttle and I don't have the issue but when I take off with more than normal acceleration I the noise and u can feel it on the floorboard directly under the driver and passengers feet. it sounds like something is binding up under load...ive replaced hub bearings and cv u joints, transfer case oil...I checked the front diff oil...it was good but it needs to be changed...kinda at a loss here...
