Default Clunk when turning hard right

In the past 2 days I have noticed a large clunk when I turn hard right. The clunk only happens when Its turned hard right like 90 degree turn and I hit a nice bump in the road, like going up my driveway/ a speed bump. I dont believe it is a U joint as I have just checked them last weekend. I dont know if the clunk is a big issue or not, its just a bit scary to hear.

I can hit almost any bump in the road and not hear a clunk, turning left doesnt give me this clunk.

If anyone has any ideas of what it may be, Id love to hear them

The XJ has a 3.5 inch lift and 31 inch tires.

I would think it's your hub bearing.

I did a quick google search and it looks like a part you remove when you change the Ujoints. Am I right in this?

Could be a ball joint or control arm bushing, you'll have to get it in the air and start pulling & prying. Might also help to have someone turn the steering wheel lock to lock while you are underneath watching & listening for movement or slop/bang/clunk.

It may have been a ball joint, I got death wobble shortly after this, replaced drag link to pitman arm ball joint and the upper and lower ball joints in the right. Still have very low death wobble, i believe it is the tires being worn wrong. Still working on it.

Drag link to pitman arm balljoint? Do you mean tie-rod end? Definately sounds like ujoints or balljoints. Check your trackbar to axle bolt or track bar itself as for the DW issue.

I didn't remember the exact name of it. I just remembered what it connected.

I rotated tires before aligning. I also got 2 new tires. Old tires were on the front and new tires were on back. Turns out the old tires are out of balance. Rotated tires and no more death wobble.

And boom goes the dynamite. I had a DW issue for a while and could not for the life of me find out what it was. Turned out it was just bad tires
Crazy how the little things make the biggest difference

I never would have imagined this issue. My s10 had terribly screwed up tires but I never had an issue. Was also ifs if that matters much. That's why I never thought of tires.
