I wonder if one could upload code compiled in C/C++ ?

It would sure be a lot cleaner.

I'm sure it's possible with the correct ADC chip. Would be pretty easy to transpose from a Basic stamp to C++... although Basic is pretty, umm, basic. I'm probably the wrong guy to ask... I know enough coding to get me in trouble but it's not my area of expertise.

... but I do have a couple of bros who are freakin' code ninjas. I might bounce this scenario off them and see what input they have.

It's what I do when I'm working. I've actually done some work on turbine engine control software but most of what I've done is maintenance applications (plug into the a/c and download faults, data history, etc).

See, you know what you're looking for then. I work with Thermal Platesetters, plotters, CTP RIPs, but code is code, just depends on what you are trying to control.

Oh yea, I'm sure it can be improved upon. This is not what I do for a living, so I'm sure someone who writes this stuff all time can do a better job.

But I have to say, it's been in operation for 10+ years now, so there's that.

I'm quite impressed, especially since you don't do it for a living.

Mine in Power Mode? Yes, absolutely. In power mode the day I took it home. I've tried Comfort Mode and it was not comforting to me. LOL Power mode does work, but not hard-wired, yet. It doesn't shift "bad", just not how I would like. If I didn't know how to drive a stick, I probably wouldn't even notice.

I'm getting ready to replace all of the cluster lights with green LED, and I'm going to hard-wire it at that point, since it will all be apart.

I've been married too long and have too many kids to have any shame left.

But yes, I will do #10, soon.
