Chrysler 8.25 Drum Parts
This forum has been a big part of keeping my XJ going. Thanks guys.
I'm trying to replace my rear drums, but I'm having trouble finding the right parts for my Chrysler 8.25 axle on my 2001 XJ. I bought a kit from Quadratec a year ago and while the drum and pads fit, the other hardware wasn't right. I think the kit was for a Dana 35.
Where can I get the right parts for my axle? I'd really like to get it right the first time! Nothing on Quadratec's site mentions my axle!?
Thanks you!!

Quadratec = overpriced yuck a lot of the time.
Bendix shoes and drums and a spring kit from any old auto parts store. I bought new drums and shoes on Amazon and got all the springs and other hardware including new wheel cylinders from NAPA. VERY affordable and very good quality/performance for less than Quadratec's incomplete "kit."

There's two separate types of drum hardware kits for rear drum brakes.
One of the kits is an adjusting kit the other is hold down kit.

I bought New drums, shoes, cylinders, and hardware from the local Oreilly Auto parts store, and up to now I rarely went into that store. Looks like I'll be in there fairly often the get the Jeep up to where I want it
They had more of the parts I need than the other local chains..

Like the others said. You shouldn't have any problem finding all the brake parts from any parts store. I know I had no problem finding everything for my 98 at O'reilly,
