Default chromoly axles

How strong are 27 spline chromoly axles? Will they hold 35s?

i assume you mean for the d30 front? then yes if thats true. I would even venture as to say youd be ok with 36's or 37's if your easy on that skinny pedal. Ive also heard that youd break the ring gear before you break your chromo shafts.

You can't get chromo axles for a semi float rear but you can get alloy. I went thru 3 sets running 33s. Waste of money, swap the axle.
