Default check engine light flashing

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee limited i had a problem with the check engine light staying on and we changed plugs wires, coil rail and sensors on the engine. Now the check engine light is flashing and the jeep starts to spit and spudder. When we stop and shut car off then we can start it back up and run for a while before it does it all over again. what it the next thing we should check

The first thing you should check is to scan it with a code reader, obviously.

first. if the check engine light is flashing, DO NOT DRIVE the vehicle, unless you want to replace the engine.

what you need to do is hook it up to a code reader to find out what is causing the cel to come on. don't just throw money at it by guessing what might be wrong.

if you don't have a code reader, or can't afford one and can't borrow one, have the jeep towed to a shop so they can hook it up to one. again, DO NOT DRIVE IT TO THE SHOP.

you can then either have the shop replace the bad sensor or do the repair, or you can tow it home and repair it yourself. the shop should tell you what's wrong with it when you pay for the diagnostics.

good luck. let us know what the mechanic finds and how you are gonna go about fixing it.

More than likely when you read the codes it will give you a bunch of red herrings. Clear the codes, drive around the block until the light comes on again and then read them again. The codes that come back will be where you want to focus your attention.

A flashing CEL is an indication of a misfire. Anytime the CEL flashes means there is an urgent problem. Do not drive the vehicle with a flashing CEL. If you have an ignition related misfire then the fuel injector is still spraying fuel into a dead cylinder. You'll wash the cylinder as well as superheat the catalytic converters. Get this fixed ASAP.

Don't throw any more parts at this. You need to adopt a testing based strategy to determine the root cause of your flashing check engine light.

That means you should use either a scan tool or a code reader and read the codes and post them here for comment.

And I agree with the advice above of not driving this vehicle until resolved as a flashing CEL indicates a "serious misfire" which will trash your catalytic converter in short order if not resolved quickly.
