Changing coolant, what else should be replaced while doing this?

Engine: 4.0

Changing coolant, what else should be replaced while doing this?

I have a 1997 cherokee sport. I bought it a couple months ago and have been doing alot of maintenance to it. My next thing before winter comes is to replace antifreeze. What should I replace when doing that? Should I replace the thermostat? What else?

Use distilled water to mix with anti freeze!

Replace the radiator hoses as well as the two hoses going to/from the heater box.

......and for the price the dealer charges for their foreign made stat alone, u can get a USA made stat AND both hoses from most auto parts stores.
