I found some for a reasonable price. Does anyone here have them? Are they really that good? I'm overhauling my brakes and am wondering about material types. TIA
I replaced my OEM pads with ceramic. Couldn't tell any difference except that adjusting the rear shoes made all the difference. Got the Delco ceramic pads from Amazon for ~$18.

I NAPA ceramic on my XJ. Worked great until the caliber seized. Even ceramic will crack and burn when the caliper quits. I recommend local NAPA since they exchanged them for free. The pads had 8,000 miles on them.

I've had trouble with ceramic pads and premature rotor wear as rotor quality has suffered in the past years.
I use semi-metallic pads and get good service life (and less rotor replacement).
