It rubbed fairly aggresivley....but it is an easy fix, a little trim with a hacksaw blade, As far as the 3" bb no its not bad, running it over a year now with no problems. Everyone is different(with different opinions) as long as it is installed correctly(safe for you and others) and fits both your driving style and budget, go for it.
Good luck!
check out fatbobsgarage.com for lifts and bb's thats where i got mine

ok went to fat bobs, and gotta say im a little confused. the lift says 3 inch but if you read the paragraph it says lifts the front 1.75 inches and the rear 1.5 to 2.0 inches. Wassup with taht?http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/jeep-...001-p7608.aspx

and anyone got anything good or bad to say about a 3inch BB? of course im probably gonna get some OME shocks with it i know i need new ones with a lift

oh im goin 2 inch then, most def, cause that looks good. my only concern now is my bumpstops, took a look at my rears the other day and noticed that i was missing one and the other was so dryrotted and destroyed that it might as well be missing. Also, 96_xj where did you get your lift? ive seen some that say 2inch lift but when you read the fine print its more like 1.25 or 1.5. also, did you get new shocks?

mine is a Tera Flex Budget boost.

Lift consisted of:
1.5" solid formed coil spacer
1.5" lift 1/4" steel with a gusset and greasable bushing.
hardware

I got it used for $40 and i still use it today! with my lift to give me about 6.5"s....

the fenders arnt cut theyre stock. when i rollup on a curb or turn on a bump it catches the sides of the fender. not the top

well a good rule of thumb is any time you lift get new shocks..... and they make 0-3" lift shocks too. i highly recommend OME shocks....

the stock ones can only extend so much.....

hmmm all i can say is research, people might be selling them used, or in the junk yards for your budget boost, and for your shocks and your tires its all about research....
