Well this is cool....transmission on the Silverado is slipping now, which means we have to get it fixed somehow so that it can be traded in ASAP, which means the KJ is the only working vehicle in the driveway at the moment, thus leaving me nothing to get back to school and work, as well as nothing to get around in to look at a new Jeep.

This couldn't have happened at a worse time.....

But since i'm not old enough, that means mom has to get the rental, and I have to take her Jeep (which she's not thrilled about)....but it may come to that if I can't find another XJ in halfway decent shape in the next couple of days.

What a friggin mess this has turned into....

Hard times come along for everyone. You will make it through and be a little better from it in the end.

Well the Chevy is gone as of this evening, which gives me the KJ to cruise in until I can find another XJ....so I guess that's a bit of good news.

Fairly tall...it was on 38's with some big boy axle's and over sized brakes (which is how he stopped so damn quick). If I had to guess on the lift, probably 8-9".

Well here's some really good news....got a call from my guy at the body shop this morning and said they could go either way with it, but they really wanted to fix it (he bought his daughter an XJ and loves them), and he could tell that i've put a lot of work into it making it mine. I told him go for it, and I should hopefully have it back in a couple of weeks.

Yup...and I can't freakin wait..I miss driving it so much...drove so much better than any stock XJ i've ever driven.

And if it looks half as good as the Mustang he rebuilt from totaled for one of my professors, it will look like a brand new Jeep when I get it back.
