Anyone know how to fix a bumper that is pushed in? On the jeep I got the driver side bumper is pushed in far enough that its almost flush with the driver side headlight/grill.
I'll try to get some photos of it so i can show you guys better what i'm talking about. But was curious could this be fixed by simply replacing the bumper, or would it be more involved than just replacing bumper?

Both corners of my front bumper were pushed in when I bought it, used a ratchet strap ties to a pole and the other end to the bumper. Just ratcheted till I got it where I wanted it

You can get a new one from quadratec for 75 dollars. If it were me I would get on local craigslist and find a part out or If you are going to buy a new stock one why not put them money towards an after market one. I really like nates 4x4.

Yea i plan on working on it this weekend. Have to put in a new P/S pump and hoses. So i'll look to see if its just the bumper thats bent or if the bracket on that side is bent as well. It bent far enough in that the bumper cap that goes on the bumper in front of the grill area won't go on at all.
When we got my dads jeep it was pretty smashed up. The front was tweaked pretty bad. We fixed it by putting a off road bumper on and tighten the bolts. It would slowly pull the frame out and straight. You could try that and it gives you an excuse to buy a off road bumper.

I really don't wheel hard enough to justify a big bumper. Tow hooks are probably the only thing I will do, though I like Detour's backbone system. AND I'd keep my chrome
