I found out thanks to my local Napa auto Parts Store, That the rear soft brake hose from a 78-79 bronco is pretty much a bolt on to the 89 and equivalent Cherokee, with the Chrysler 8.25, and is about 3 inches longer. Just another option.

what year 5.0 mustang injectors would i want to run on my 97 xj 4.0??? does it even matter? and are the plugs going to be the same? ha. should be a blast

Fwiw, the 2.5L Dakota alternator was NOT a direct bolt on for my XJ, I had to grind the alternator bracket to get it on. Not sure if something is different on mine or not, just throwing that out there.

Those who are looking to get power everything with the ability to have a fob for keyless entry ... And don't plan to submarine their rig its a good swap... Depending on the age of your rig it also switches to newer intake and ability to go true HO.
I agree it is a massive undertaking but if your restoring your rig I see lots of benefits...
