80/90s are TTB coils then its normal IFS style and TTB coils would be stiff enough to use one to hold the hole jeep up. get some of the thunderchicken coils and a set of spacers to keep better ride quality.

$75 a piece. $150 for the pair. At just about any wreckers in Ontario.
They have all agreed on a "Price List" of common parts.
Such as $50 a coil spring. $100 for a rad. $500 to $1000 for an D35 or 8.25

Just spent the better part of my day reading this entire thread! Being unemployed kicks @$$! I kept the note pad handy and I will be visiting the JY this weekend. Doing a BP on the rear of my 92 XJ, and picking up a durango gear box.

I also have a 96 ZJ as a donor vehicle. The ZJ has been rolled and has a D44 front out of what, I dont know, but my question is, will all the mounting points match up for a swap from the ZJ to XJ? I know I should just go look, but the ZJ is 40 minutes away and, well since I am unemployed fuel aint cheap and I need to save the money for JY run. HaHa.

BTW Dukie u r the dookie! Love ur write ups and info.

Alrighty, so I got a set of 87-96 Dodge Dakota Leafsprings with 4 in lift for 234 even. already bought it. Should I have an easier time with these new spring than making a bastard pack? I am assuming, at best, I would need to cut the eyes off the top leaf and attach the jeep one. Would that be a good deal?
