CAI will NOT give you more HP or better mpg.
It will create better flow, allowing the throttle to be slightly more responsive.
But just bc its a more responsive start, doesn't mean you have more HP.

If it pulls in actual COLD air and not engine bay heat like 95% of the "CAI" kits out there, then yes it will produce more power, and mayyyybe mpgs. It needs to be insulated fron engine bay heat though...

For the s10 bastard packs will 2wd springs work or does it have to be 4wd? The reason I ask is cause I have a buddy with a 2wd s10 sitting in his yard and I could get the springs off of it for super cheap



There was an article where they took everything to the dyno, I couldn't find it though. But it's the same concept as a high flow exhaust. The easier air can move through, the more power you get, though it's minimal.
