Dukie, I appreciate your help. I will probably start with about 3 - 4" of lift. Using junkyard parts. And eventually move on to control arm drop brackets and go a bit higher. Mostly I wanna be able to hit the trails here with confidence, but I also wanna get people to stop talking crap about my XJ.
Gonna lift front and then make back match.

Default budget boost

I have a 2000 XJ with a Rubicon budget boost. I want to upgrade to full length coils (2-2 1/2 longer). Would a V8 ZJ do the trick? I have a heavy winch bumper up front. Thanks

IIRC, v8 zj coils are no longer than ours, they are just far stiffer, so they don't settle as much when loaded.

i baught an 89 xj it has a lot of potential.but it has the bendix 9 brake system. i heard that it would be easier to swap the abs w\ non abs rather than deal with the bendix sys. i am lost as where to begin, and what i can use on the existing system. i did read some stuff on the bendix.and i want it out of my life. i do have an 87 yj 4.2 and a 00xj 4.0 , can i use either one of them as a reference ? any help would be appreciated or just point me in the right direction

*Update after a nice trip out a few weeks ago I had 2 holes in my wheel well they are to long but now i have some take offs off a 2006 Rubicon (TJ) they work great*
