Ive read that the LT1 24lb 6 hole injectors are perfect candidates for modified 4.0's

I'm about to go to the local jy to get a hitch and are there any sure fireways to tell what class a hitch is? Like the #of mounting holes??

Most if not all receiver hitches on XJs are class 3

make sure you grab the nut plate from inside the frame. You will have to remove the rear bumper to get it. Also might be nice to grab the rear exhaust hanger if it's not rusted. I didn't and now my exhaust hands ghetto-ly.

Yep and I don't need an exhaust hanger got my xj with a brand spanking new setup

I can now confirm that later model ZJ leather seats will not fit in any shape or form into a 1990 XJ without some real modifications. I'll be selling my now 'extra' leathers on CL in Reno.

Also, the V6 was only used '84-86, and some of the Jeeps from those years have the I4. Most people have the I6 which was used '87-01.

I got 5.5" by keeping the original spring isolator and using the tbird spring isolator right side up.
