Broken Window Gears.....
I have always known that my passenger side door had a lot to be desired when it came to rolling the windows up and down, they're manual, but it finally gave out on me. It feels like I just sheared the teeth on the gears! I took off the handle and it's not going to be an easy fix at all. It's something that is inside the door. If anyone has ever fixed this problem before or has some sort of schematic for the door itself that would help me out a ton. Thanks

If the gears are striped then you will need a new regulator. Get one from the jy unless you want to give up body parts at the dealership.

I have electric but I think they are the same one just has a motor instead of manual gears.
I basically learned the easiest way by removing one at the JunkYard that way If I messed up the donor door I wasn't worried. I know the Electric set-up was daunting a looked a lot more difficult than it was. Once I dug in it kinda of just worked itself out. Best way to get rid of the Pop-rivets is a Angle grinder. Some will say a Chizel and a hammer work best but the doors are week and can't take the impact. Angle grinder is the Best and Ryobi makes a battery one perfect for the JY.
