Broken sensor?
Anyone know what this sensor is? So I was changing the oil for the first time on my 95 Cherokee 4.0 I recently acquired and the oil filter was really stuck on there so I used a strap wrench and when the filter broke loose the handle of the the strap wrench slammed into a sensor and broke all the plastic. It’s right above/in front of the oil filter to the right a little bit threaded into the head/block with a plastic connector and one wire on it I’ll upload a photo when I’m done work I’m thinking I’m going to have to replace the sensor and the wire because I shattered the plastic connectors on both of them

Yeah, save yourself some money and headaches by getting a harness connector in a junkyard. The very most it should cost you is $5 if they are rapists. If the junkyard sensor isn't oily, grab that too.
I got an oil pressure sensor for my WJ at a dealer and it cost me $50!
