EVERYONE WHO HAS A BROKEN BOLT OR IS GOING TO REPLACE SHOCKS ANYTIME SOON HAS TO READ THE WRITE UP!!! YOU WILL THANK ME LATER.
I had this happen to me about 2 weeks ago, I tried the easy out, and that broke off in the bolt (apparently it was a big POS) and after ridin on one bolt for a week THAT ONE SNAPPED TOO!! so I did some heavy searchin and found this AMAZING WRITE UP!!

Honestly took 5 minutes per bolt!! and no floor cutting involved. its not gunna pop right off when you hammer it, but it will giveway or else someone at the factory actually did a good job welding these nuts on the mount. So I guess i'm sayin X3 on the air hammer. I'd also recommend to get the new bolt in to just fish some wire/string in backwards tie to bolt and ta-da. (i think I may have even used floss, first time in a long time i've used floss for anything haha)
Note: when you do this, you will get sand/dirt/mud/whatever else sticks to your jeep falling on you, so I'd highly advise safety glasses and something to cover your ears, cuz i swear I'm still finding stuff in my ears from this.
