Wow, that's surprising. Didn't know they carry that kind of stuff. Well I just did a quick look, and I'm only seeing rear stuff as well. This looks to be the only thing that might work, but it looks nothing like what RockAuto has. Is it because it's ABS (which I don't have) or is that for another axle that's not the D30?

I have a drivers side D-30 axle shaft & axle stub
27 spline .. where are you ?
I paid $85 for it with a Ujoint installed .. JY
bought for last jeep ('90), they sold me wrong part (needed pass side / vac disco) .. I removed u joint on this axle as a test before I repaired mine ..
I tried the fit of this shaft last weekend on my '93 D-30, fit fine & matched current axle (did my drivers side refurb last weekend
except this extra I have ... uses larger diameter U-joint than my stock axle
I was gonna sell it on Ebay soon .. I have Paypal if youre interested .. could get it there quick priority mail, fits in a medium flat rate box
Installing U-joint is easy, cost about $20 .. hammer & a push rod .. whatever you do .. do NOT remove axle & drive around .. the yoke end holds the hub together, at least put the wheel yoke piece back on .. I did that, almost lost a wheel .. same parts store steered me wrong twice
at least i know what this shaft is now .. its solid

Thanks for the info, guys! Quick question.. I know it's not driveable in its current state, but can I remove the yoke/axle, then plug the axle from leaking and drive on the street in 2WD? My passengers u joint broke my first time out with the Jeep when I got stuck pretty deep in mud. I removed the yoke/joint and had a plug that allowed me to drive around without it leaking and such. It's just a little inconvenient to have my Jeep out of commission at the moment.
Cheers

Yes you can, I broke both my front axle shafts on one run far from home. I removed both shafts, stuffed two rags wih duct tape around them into the holes and drove it 2 hours home.
Its not ideal, but it works. If you are going to do it for any more than a few days, just keep checking your diff fluid.

do not drive without axle yoke stub / axle nut tight .. it holds hub assy together .. lateral / side to side
i got very lucky in May .. almost lost wheel, hub separated about 3/4", luckily it didnt fall apart on highway
same crappy used parts store who mis-sold me this axle .. also said I could drive without those parts

really depends on u-joint diameters .. i dont think it would matter having a stronger 1 on 1 side .. but not sure .. it does look identical to my stock 93, bsides that
I kept remnants of old U-joint .. for matching them up later

it did fit as my stock in axle .. side by side matched my stock, length / spline count
the part #s on it kinda hard to read
shaft stamps appear to read:
F5H1US
43621AP
total length of shaft 17-3/8"
from inner / diff side .. plastic shield to axle end 13- 1/4"
i rented a press kit last weekend, for fixing my 93, decided to completely remove u-joint out of the 1 for sale .. the wheel stub side, removed with a hammer in May .. it wasnt nearly as seized as my 93 drivers side .. that thing popped apart loud .. had to put my foot on the press, literally
i was debating keeping it , but after all the front end work I just did .. not gonna be rockin it hard anytime soon .. too many other gremlins to weed out .. to be a daily driver
I know guys on here know about the specs on u-joints / shaft sizing .. would be more confident if they chime in, this could save you $200 .. no kiddin

I bought my XJ with an Aussie already in it, so I'm leaning as I go. Does having that change anything at all? I can't go to the JY and get this, and I'd rather buy from a CF member than anywhere else online. Sounds like it should work. Can it wait until Friday when I get paid?
Thanks man
