Brake issue on 89 xj
So this problem has just started happening. Only time this happens. When I brake for the first time after starting engine, the truck will shutter bad when I brake. Will happen only one time after I start engine. Then will be fine for rest of the drive. If I go into store and then come out and start engine. Will do again....and so on. Doesn't happen all the time. Any ideas?. I'm thinking maybe if there is vacuum line connected to brakes. Don't know?

The engine will shudder when the vehicle is sitting still? Or when you are moving the vehicle will shudder when you hit the brakes for the first time while moving?

no, xj will run perfectly fine all day long...brakes work all day long....it only shutters the first time I press brake to stop after I turn on xj.....
