engine turns off after brake is pressed

engine turns off after brake is pressed
i have a 89 cherokee has 237k, i was driving down the road and the jeep turned off when i went to restart the jeep i pressed the brake the jeep wont want to start or will turn on and then when i press the brake the jeep turns off has topped off fluids and new oil pump and good oil pressure any advice
