My heat blender door was stuck forever. I got it going but I broke the plastic bit on the back of the control group where the cable attaches to the ****. Buying a new group has gone out of my budget so I was hoping someone was 3D printing them or something.

 

Can you glue it back together ? or can you get one at a pick an pull yard ? or maybe Ebay?

 

the eye that hold the end of the door cable is where they've been breaking. I've hit up the U-Pull-Its in my area. They're all super brittle and I've snapped maybe 5 of them. I'm hoping I can find another intact control cluster so I can commission someone to make me a couple. Asking here was my back up plan

 

I would take one and clean the back side and then fill it in with a epoxy to make it stronger .

There is a 97 in my local pick and pull, been there since mid october. If I get a chance I'll see if I can grab the HVAC panel for ya.

I maybe imagine that '97, being a transition year, might be different, but '98 too?
I wonder how many sellers on Ebay advertise them to fit '97 to '01.
Like the majority do with cruise control switches.
