body fitment help
Help!,
Smacked the nose on my 98 2 door. Just found an entire front clip from a 99 0n craiglist. Is it a direct bolt up? Its complete. Owner says he cut frame at shock towers. Any differences other than fender flares? I know I should do a search but my bro in law is on his way with the truck! Gotta snag this quick to get my baby on the road! Any warnings advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU!

what all are you using from the donor? just the header/bumper, fenders and hood? or are you planning to cut yours at the shock towers too?
if you're just gonna bolt the stuff on, then yeah, it will all just bolt right up, as long as yours isn't all mangled up.
do you have pic's of your damaged front end?

pics, I hope...
Thanks much for replying to a pretty vague post. I tried to post some pics of Jeep and clip. I'll have to figure out some things as I go along but now at least I'm pretty sure the body parts will bolt up and get her on the road. Since the clip is burgundy I'll have Rudolph the red nosed Cherokee. In plenty of time for Christmas. My frame didn't get bent so I won't cut that. It had a 2" receiver on the front and a high lift jack bolted to the stock front bumper and those are probably the only reason she's salvageable. Bent the beam on the hi lift at about a 45% angle. Keeping that for a souvenir.

Just to be on the safe side you can take measurements from center of fender bolt heads. Just measure from rear left to the front right then rear right to front left then measure rear right to front right and rear left to front left. These measurements will tell you if the front is still square. You can also measure from level ground up to the core support on each side as well.
