theyre all the same. if youre steering is good, you dont need one. if you spend more than 30 bucks on one youre just wasting money.

no you dont.

i havent had one for 2.5 years. and you dont "need" one on the stock inverted-Y setup either. mine was leaking and didnt do anything when i pulled my stock steering off when i went to one ton.

ok, you don't.

to the op, i bought mine from a buddy's shop. i paid around 100 bux canadian.
i put everything brand new on the front of my jeep. every link, every bushing, upper control arm axle bushings, brand new long arms, brand new upgraded steering, brand new ball joints, brand new wheel bearings, even a brand new skyjacker steering stabilizer. i had a slight case of the death wobble. put this trail master stabilizer on and death wobble was gone. cruise at 120kph no problem. take hands off the wheel. 3 years now.

but i have 36 inch bias ply tires on beadlocks, maybe that has something to do with it.

I (like caged) have a case of the death wobbles. I took it to a reliable alignment shope and he told me to start with the stabilizer that was obviously busted. So i wanted to get input on where to start. I like the look and design of the Trailmaster listed above and found it on Rustys for 55 bucks so i think im gonna order that and go from there! thanks for the input!

steering stabilizer is not needed. If you think it cures your death wobble, you're wrong. It only covers it up. Just a bandaid. If you have death wobble, something else is wrong. And if you already replaced all the parts then either some parts were defective, or the person that did the replacing did something wrong.
