Spicer and Moog are good quality parts. Stay away from the no name ebay stuff from China.

A few have had some problems with Moog recently, which is disappointing.

I go with Spicer.

Quick ball joint question.. I need to replace mine since I'm having some steering issues with it being loose and a little bit of death wobble. I haven't replaced them since I've owned the jeep, going on 2 years now, and I run 33s on spacers.

My question is.. Am I replacing the top and bottom or just one or the other?

Wellll I'd replace all of them so the upper and lower on each side. Google the YouTube video on how to replace them a guy literally does the whole thing and video tapes it.

You're going to have the knuckle off, you might as well replace all of them at the same time.

spend a few extra bucks and make sure the ball joints and ujoints are the greasable kind. i like moog, and never had any issues/ make sure you grease the ujoints after mudding/water crossings, or they will likely make a very annoying squeaking sound...

I'm going to balance my tires this paycheck, since they were balanced for 31s (on 33s now) and some weights may have fallen off. Plus when driving highway speeds, it's a bit rough.

Then next check I'm going to get Frank's 4 set of quality balljoints for like $180. Greasable and all!

Personally if you can find them I prefer the good factory spicer ball joints those are the best.
