Which axles do i have

Default Which axles do i have

I had always thought that my 90 xj had a dana 30 front and a dana 35 rear but when I was looking at lockers for it the vehicle search thing said it had a dana 44 rear is this right or how do i tell.

All XJ's came with a Dana 30 front. For the rear, just look at the diff. A Dana 35 is more oval shaped, while a Dana 44 is closer to a hexagon.

Not on a '90, unless someone did a swap on it.

they will only have the build sheet if it's under 10 yrs old. Tried it on mine and they said they don't have the records anymore.
