Default axle questions

i have a dana 35 that needs rebuilt so i plan on going up to 4.88 gears instead of 3.55 so am i going to need a low ratio carrier like my dana 30? ive only heard the dana 30 needing it

The gear ratio must match in both axles. Don't waste your money on the Dana Turdy five. It would cheaper to upgrade to a stronger rear axle. What size tire do you plan on running?

No you do not need one with the Chry 8.25, plus a much stronger rear end just try to get one with the 29 spline axles.

29 is preferable for its strength, but honestly youll break something else before you start stripping teeth/splines
