Default 98 Cherokee, 4.0L AutoZone Motor Mount P/N 2572?

Bought an AutoZone Motor Mount # 2572,
says they will fit 98 Cherokee, but it is too wide to fit inside the block brackets. 2572 measures about 3 1/4" vs 3 1/8" is what the old one measured, driver's side motor mount.

Have seen other motor mounts PNs using 2572:
Anchor 2572 Front Left Mount
browndog CU2572-0K2
O'Reilly's and Advance both call out 2572.

File it off 1/8" or jam it in there, or is this the right part?

I had to file off a autozone mount I bought just to last me until I order brown dog poly mounts. It was a tad too wide.

Thanks, making sure I'm not crazy or have some mismatching block mounting brackets on this XJ. I did the same, filed off some on both sides till it slid into the bracket.

And for the record, are the OEM motor mounts side specific, i.e. different part for left and right side? This PN 2572 doesn't specify, appears to be for both??

I found this on brown dog site: http://browndogindustries.com/CU2572...ts-Rubber.aspx

"Bolts directly to original equipment brackets.
Unlike most other high-performance motor mounts, these do not require trimming or grinding to fit. We've designed the left (driver side) mount to accommodate the lip found on the original driver-side bracket found on most XJ and MJ. You get full benefit of high performance motor mounts with bolt-in convenience."
