When you say locker do you mean a lunchbox type?
Cause I am kind of under the impression that you can only install that type in an open carrier.
But don't quote me on that cause I know next to nothing about them. LOL.

Yes I want to install a lunchbox locker, that is my impression also , open carrier only!!
The build sheet says it is Command-Trac Part Time 4WD System.
Thanks

Thanks exasemech, I knew that, 30 years ago, LOL It has been way too long since I worked on these things. I've gotten too used to my simple dragster.

To be sure what carrier you have, pull the diff cover. I have seen many limited slips so worn out that I thought they were open until I pulled the cover and ..... surprise

Thanks Ralph, not much difference!
I fall about 700 foot elevation in 1/2 mile, when it snows I have to have 4WD and chains to get to the top of the ridge. I welded the last Cherokee's spiders up because it never saw the road, this one will see some dry road use.
thanks again
