I have a 1989 Cherokee LTD with an inline 6, 4 speed auto and Selectrack. I need a new rear axle and se lots of newer ones (2000 and newer) but few older ones. I'm getting lots of coflicting information about which axles will fit and which don't. Does anyone know if there a list or table that dedtails which model year XJ axles will fit other model years? Thanks for any advice.

all rear axles are swapable from XJ to XJ, but try to get an early dana 44, or 97+ chrysler 8.25
