Default Front Spring Perch

So I purchased my first XJ this week and have been loving it. It has a 3 in rough country lift and I just got new 31x10.5 General Grabber at2s. The jeep has been rubbing when I'm at speed and make a left hand turn (shifting the weight to the passenger side. So I looked around and found the lower spring perch up front it toast, rusted through. I believe this is allowing the spring to move outward instead of up and down like it should. I am pretty mechanically inclined and have no problem dropping the axle to fix this, but I was wondering if any one else sells the spring perches other then Rusty's. The Rusty's mounts seem way over priced. I am thinking I will just make my own but I have never made any suspension components before. I have a mig welder and have been welding for a year or so but I think I can handle it. Here is a pic of the spring perch:

Basically the bottom of the spring looks as if it doesn't have a flat place to sit.

Just looking for some options, thanks in advance!

Actually as I look around more and more, is it that the way the spring is supposed to sit? Obviously that hole isn't supposed to be rusted through but after looking at a lot of pictures on line it looks as if that is how it is supposed to sit.

Your perch looks like crap but I don't see that it is actually causing you problems. The spring looks correctly located.

Ok, that makes me feel better then, it just seemed weird that the spring didn't have a flat surface for the entire base to rest on.

I believe I have tracked my noise down to the passenger front wheel bearing. Strange that it just makes a noise when that side has weight on it in turn but after shaking down the tire it definitely needs a bearing on that side.

I will still be fixing those rusted spring perches at some point in the future, thanks for the replies!
