Default Axle help pls

Just bought myself a C8.25 to replace my D35 and i need confirmation on the gear ratio as well as the number of spline, hope someone can help.

those numbers are different to what i've seen and are familiar with.
but if i had to guess, i'd say gear ratio is 3.55 and it's from a 99, which would be a 29 spline axle shaft.

are there any other numbers on the edge of the ring gear?

Thx for the quick reply.

Those are all the numbers.
My D35 has something like a "39 11", which i understand would be a 3.55 (39/11) but i can find any that can confirm that.

You divide the larger (ring gear) by the smaller (pinion gear) to get your ratio.. so, yes it's 3:55.

It's right there on your ring gear... count the teeth on both gears to verify if you dont trust the stamping.
