I have an 88 Cherokee Pioneer with a 4.0. What rear axle do I have or how can I find out? Thanks

There's a tag on the diffs.
Crawl under it and get the numbers. Post them up. we'll go from there.

If it has a flat bottom it's an 8.25, if it's round it's a d35 and also if you IF you have abs you definitely have a d35 some came with it but no
8.25s did
