Default Aussie locker

Anybody use aussie's? Give me some feedback if you do. Don't have real deep pocket's and these look pretty good for the price.

i got one in the front, not noticeable on the street

as far as the rear goes i talked to a kid who had one and he said when you hit the gas it engages, so the tires will chirp when accelerating around corners

I'm running aussie lockers front and rear. Best bang for the buck by far The front is a little testy when running on the street in two wheel due to the fact that the hubs are always locked in. The rear is barely noticeable on the street and amazing offroad. I've been running them for nearly a year now with no problems. I drive them in the snow, on icey roads, offroad, and on dry pavement. In the snow you just have to realize that it is locked up and lay off the skinny pedal a bit. On dry pavement going around corners, the only time it chirps is if im flooring it on a sharp corner. Left turns at intersections with gas it doesn't chirp at all. All in all they're great for a daily driver/weekend warrior. I love them and would recommend them to anyone. PS the install is a breeze if your half way mechanically inclined.

I ran them front and rear for years before the axle swap and they were flawless.

Would a Aussie put too much stress on my D35 if I'm only running 31's?

I just put one in my rear. Got to get use to the torque steer thou. Haven't tried it offroad yet, but from what I heard they are great.

Good gear oil like a synthetic or blend will quieten down the clicking but after a week or so you don't notice it.
