Without getting too technical, my odometer is off 2 MPH where my GPS shows 50 MPH and where the speedometer shows 52. I take that as a simple 4% offset. Please tell me if I'm doing this right.

Anyone know the proper V8 ZJ tie rod part number from O'Rielly and Autozone?
I know theres a few different tie rods with different names on their websites.
Also is the one to replace the driverside tie rod? If they are cheap id like to replace them all next week.

So, find a working cluster from a similar year model with almost same millage. Are all of the proper wiring harnesses already run to the old cluster? They just run idiot lights instead of actual gauges? I get replacing the sending unit, but what about the tach and others? Plug and play?

Yup. Plug 'n play. Chrysler loved to run wire (albeit poorly), though I think it's the same connectors. Gauge cluster on newer models has it's own circuitry inside so it's really just a matter of whether it has the gauges or not. Aside from oil pressure sender the ECU already knows about engine RPM, temp, voltage, and speed. Older models had two temperature sensors, one for the ECU and one for the gauge. No idea why.

It appears in my 99 no new sending units required. Just plug and play. Dash out, old cluster out, new cluster in, dash in. Looks like a project for next weekend. Thanks.
