I have had nothing but problems with ANYTHING Airtex.

For fuel pumps, Bosch is the best in the business. Have installed a bunch and never had one fail prematurely.

I still suggest looking at the plugs and injectors though.

FWIW, OEM only for new fuel pumps.

So TJ, anyway to find out if I need to return this AirTex? I would have gone Bosch did this on a sunday, I was low and gas and it was an impulse, my dad had time and so did I. But if it's possibly bad already then I'd like to test and replace with Bosch.

You could pull the fuel rail and check the injectors for leaking under pressure. All you need to do is pull the rail and injectors out of the intake enough to see the ends of the injectors. Then key on and off a few times to build fuel pressure. If they leak enough to lose pressure you will find out exactly which cylinder is at fault.
