Anybody have a problem with flow rates with the PureOne?
94 Cherokee 4.0
The local auto parts store Who's Name Shall Not Be Mentioned has a sale on the Penzoil HM and a PureOne filter for 25 bucks. So on one hand this would save me about 20 bucks but I'm concerned that the dense filter material could cause flow issues.
So anybody have any horror stories or am I just being a big girl?

This is a great read on oil filters:

I don't have any personal experience with PureOne

I find the whole oil filter thing, and its various shades, fascinating.

I love Purolator PureOne filters. I've been using them for years in my Chevy, Nissan, and Jeep with no problems. The textured paint is great for getting a grip, and the red rubber gasket is easy to find.

They are a good filter made by wix just like napa ,mobil 1 ,stp filter's etc,etc you get the idea. Just walk away from the standerd orange fram filters, those are the bad ones.

Ok, Every one says that wix is one of the better filter and I do agree with that , That is what I normally us in my 98 XJ. I usually buy it at walmart. The other day I went to pick one up to do an oil change and they no longer carry the wix filter. But, they do carry the mopar filter. I was just wondering how good are they?

There is absolutely no flow issue with the Purolator Pure One filter.
They are always highly rated upon reviews. I've been running them for years. Best deal I can find is $5.95 each online at amazon.com
