It looks like a decent upgrade, and if it works like advertised it will be worth the money. It even looks like the same price as an ordinary tune up. Just don't wanna get burned on a gimmick.

1st off it is not listed for the 4.0L 6 so there seems to not be an aplication for a Renix engine. The 258 that it lists is the predecessor to the 4.0L that you have and was used in CJs until 91.

I'll add that the only advantage of that OLD trick is using the adapter to a ford distributor cap is that you get a cleaner spark at high rpm. Look at a Mallory unit and you will see the same trick.
I doubt you redline the jeep much.
Most of what I read on the gas saver tricks is just that, a trick to get your money.
