Default Another shock question

I'm looking to get new shocks but don't know which size to get. I know the proper way to find out is to flex them out and measure but I don't flex. My jeep is a beach runner and will probally never see a rock. So what I'm asking is what size shocks should I get? Right now I'm sitting at 4.5 inches of lift but hopefully in the next few months I'll have 6.5 inches of lift and I would like to get a shock that will work with both heights. Any input is appreciated.

I myself dont know. But be a friend to some of the offroad companies. Try Rustys offroad, give them a call and ask them for some info about shocks. I have called them quite a few times and they are very helpful!

hope it helps!

You can try Quadratec, they sell them and ask what size lift is on the jeep. I got my Nitro's there for a good deal. Summit is also good...Tj

ThreadJacker...lol. Yes there is a nut welded to the uni body, if you busted a bolt you can air hammer them out and put a nut and bolt in there...Tj

Fox. You can have them at 4.5", lift it another two and not be close to maxing out the shock.
