Quick Question

Can you directly swap later model XJ seats into an older one? I have a 91 XJ, and reclining seats would be nice. Besides, mine are showing their age. I was thinking of nabbing some 97 or so seats.

I think the mounting bracket is different for the newer years but you can probably use the older brackets on the newer seats...Tj

Awesome. I have a friend who owns a JY and I think he recently got a 97 or 98 XJ and Im gonna grab the seats. Should I grab the rear seats too so they match?

I think I saw a thread on here before (it was about grand cherokee seats into a cherokee) and read that the grand seats were a direct bolt in for the 97+ xj's, but the older ones had to have the brackets modified because the floorpan was different, something about a hump?
