My 94 Cherokee back end gets away from me when the slightest bit of water is on the ground. I basically have to let it roll forward before I lightly push the gas. Is this normal?

Could you clarify what you mean by "gets away from me"? Like it slides sideways? Have you checked your rear suspension for loose bolts, etc? Condition of tires?

Yes if i'm turning it slides to the side. If i'm not turning the tires peel out. Brand new tires.
